The Model PLT-1500 air driven reel positioning trucks have a 1500 pound capacity. They are constructed of heavy wall 2 x 4 rectangular tubing and 10" channel iron. These ruggedly built trucks move and position your pay-off reels with extreme maneuverability. A 1" diameter ball screw, worm gear speed reducer and a 1 3/4 horsepwer air motor create the lift. Four heavy duty cam followers keep the carriage riding securely between the uprights. A simple lever operated valve controls the lifting and lowering. As the pay-off reel is being lifted a pneumatic limit switch stops the reel at the correct height for the centerline of the cones. A foot operated floor lock holds the trucks in place. The reel shaft is manufactured from 3.25" diameter x 3/8 wall round mechanical tubing. Each truck is supplied with one pair of reel adapters up to 5" in diameter.
