Tape Folding Table with Dual Permanent Magnet Tape Dispensers:

Application:

This machine is designed for "pulling-in" tape at the Jacketing operation.

This compact design combines the tape folding table technology with the accuracy and control of two Permanent Magnet Tape Dispensers, (PMTD). The PMTD units provide constant tape tension control as the tape is depleted. The folding table includes a UHMW slide for tape positioning and provisions for a tape folding tool or tape fingers. The machine provides constant tape tension control while folding the tape over the cable core as it enters the extrusion head. Optional equipment includes extension tubes to prevent the pate from relaxing going into the extruder head.
