The model TN-HB250-1 tension unit will handle wire sizes from 10-28 AWG and speeds up to 3000 fpm. This unit incorporates a 1" wide flat belt, UHMW-PE sheave and hysterisis brake to create the tension needed when running product from flyer cones. The main frame is manufatured from 1/4" thick plate and 2" square structural tubing to give the machine a solid base. Ceramic eyelets guide the product in and out of the tensioner. A series of five UHMW sheaves guide the product to the exit. A hinged clear Plexiglas door allows visibility and easy access for the machine operator.
